  1. cure的基本意思是“治愈”,指用药物治愈某人的病。此时cure并不表示动作,而表示治愈的结果。引申可指“矫正某人的不良行为”。
  2. cure可用作及物动词,也可用作不及物动词。用作及物动词时,主语是人,宾语一般为患者,后接of引出疾病; 主语为药物时,宾语多为疾病或不良行为。cure用作不及物动词时,可用病、伤、恶习作主语,其主动形式含有被动意义; 以药物或疗法作主语时,意为“有疗效”“可治愈”。
  3. cure还可作“保存”解，指用腌、晒、烤等方法保存食物、动物皮毛或烟草等。
  4. cure可用于被动结构。
